Stylophorum diphyllum
A lower growing woodland native that blooms bright a yellow poppy-like flower in the early spring. Pairs well with most other woodland ephemeral flowers. Does well in a variety of soils and part shade to full, sites. Will slowly seed in over time. A great mass plant, or groundcover.
